Their incompetent. I moved to Hemet and took our Beagle hound in for pain. After paying fees for xrays was told arthritis. Have documentation from Pets Meds the many attempts by them to get permission from Pets Vet to send me her medication. I had to talk to someone there three times myself, was told fax machine broken, she went without meds for two weeks. I took her back because still very much in pain. No one there I saw before. No xray on record. They asked me what I was told the result was. I said arthritis. They gave me additional medicine to suplement the one she has. Told them over and over there are nodules or a growth on her and the Doctor never looked at them. She is still in pain and now have to start all over again somewhere else.
So far so good. This is the 2nd cat I've had fixed here and no problems with eather one yet. Reasonable prices and easy to fit my schedule.
Pets Vet is great. I took my 2 nine month old Airedale Terrier puppies there. They each had to have surgery and Dr. Bob did an awesome job! I was concerned as my puppies are very important to me, and quite expensive dogs, and I didn't want just anyone doing the surgeries. Dr. Bob was referred by a friend. I drove an hour to get to his office. I made the right decision, as everything went well, the puppies are recovering nicely, and all my anxiety on surgery day was unnecessary. Dr. Bob is a great vet and an excellent surgeon, just as I had heard. Thanks Dr. Bob, and Claudia too!
The doctor and his staff were very nice and the prices were very reasonable. They seem to really care about my dog. She is a 8 month old pit bull we brought her in because she had parvo. She ended up having to stay overnight for 3 nights She pulled through thanks to the care she got while she was there. She is now a happy healthy puppy again. I will be using this vet as my primary vet from now on they are awesome.
I have not been to this vet, however I also had a puppy with 3 sets of shots and he too got parvo. I choose the less expensive route like you. But my pup lived, it wasn't the doctors fault you pup got parvo or that he died. It really depends on the dogs immune system. I too was surprised to learn dogs can still gets parvo after shots and I have had dogs most my life. For Moose it was touch and go we set up with him most of the night and gave him meds every hour, when he would go lifeless i'd pick him up hold him tell him keep fighting buddy were going to make it... Thank God he did Sorry you lost your pup. In all fairness this vet gave you an option. Sandy S Hemet
