First of all, I don't know what planet KEI SATO is on..but Gregg hospital does not have a gas chamber...They have been nothing but kind to the animals, and me.
Dr. Greg and his staff are wonderful, we have recommended Greg Animal hospital to all our friends and neighbors. I have never experienced any uncomforting nor misunderstanding with them, unlike the review below... Members of our family have also taken their pets to gregs animal hospital and all have had pleasent experiences... they are on top of all my dogs health needs with the cute cards I recieve in the mail. Oh, and I love the lobby where I can sit and watch news/info about our furry friends... :)
I asked if the doctor could sedate my dog in the parking lot of the hospital before administering the lethal injection. This way, my dog would be in comfortable surroundings and would go to sleep by my side with the least amount of stress and fear. The attendant said the doctor would not go outside to my car, there is no sedation, and the dog is killed by lethal gas in a chamber! She said "Sorry. That's how we do it." Before I hung up the phone, I said, "Sorry, but this is how I do it!" and hung up the phone! Would you want the last precious moments of your dog's life to be completely terrified and trapped in a sealed chamber? Think about it...
Dr. Gregg has taken great care of our dogs and cat for 20+ years. Our cat lived to a very healthy 21 years old under his care. We've always appreciated his practical advice and common sense. His staff is friendly and helpful.
I've been taking my cats to Dr. Gregg for more than 15 years. From first exams and vaccinations to tearful final farewells they've treated my little guys (and my husband and I) with compassion. Dr. Gregg is up to date on the latest research and will go out of his way to find out more about difficult cases. But unlike some places I've gone to, they don't push extreme measures just for the sake of getting a few more bucks in the till. They've respected our feelings and have always put the welfare of our cats first. I plan on bringing my kitties here for at least another 15 years.
