Holy Moly this facility is the worst I have ever been too. The front office staff for the Vet are rude, unprofessional, snappy and aggressive. The pets have more manners than they do.They do have low cost pet services, but that does not give them the right to treat people like cramp! I was there for 5 hrs with my pet, no water no food. But it is how the office staff works and the attitude that is the worst experience. The day I was there I lost count of the mistakes they keeped making with people and their pets and that was scary. If you must go there take a lunch and food/water for your pet it is a horribly long wait, and that is hard on a sick pet. Please speak up if they are rude to you. The front staff has no compassion or love for pets because they are so busy, and they only have one Vet for tons and tons of people. These people work on donations and voluntary I hear but they still get a big fat 0!

This place is very affordable for vaccines. I only spent $31 for my kittens Calici Vaccines and worm treatment. They also gave me a free sample of flea medicine. I was there around 8:30am and ended up as number 12 on the list. The whole thing took 2 hrs, which is not bad given the amount of people that go there. So I recommend going on weekdays and at least 30 min before they open to get a good number. Then wait outside because it gets crowded inside the waiting room and your pet might get anxious in there. The staff is nice and are willing to answer your questions. I ask the person giving out the numbers like 5 questions as I was walking in with people behind me and she was very happy to answer them. I have see the other comments being really negative about this place, but it mostly because of the wait times and other peoples pets. But what do you expect, this is the most affordable place in Long Beach for Vaccines/spay/neuter of cats and dogs. So naturally they are going to get busy and people are going to have to wait. For the services that the Humane Society provides and the prices I give them 5 stars.

I was there yesterday with my shitzu, I had read the reviews and I was afraid to go but my dog need it care. I must say the vet was kind explained everything well and she took her time with my fluffy. The staff was nice too. I was relief when we left and thankful and I only pay 80 which any where else would be over 300.00.

It was a good and affordable service, there is a wait of course so be prepared. It's not that bad staff is great.

I'm not sure why this is this case, but front desk service is RUDE. Even when calling on the phone to make an appointment is awful. I don't understand why low-cost services translate to poor customer service.
