As my senior dogs aged, I wanted to find help for them if I could. Thank goodness I saw that TV segment on CARE! First off, the name is very fitting as everyone - from the receptionists to the therapists to the doctors - are caring, gentle and kind with a genuine love for animals. I know my Mario received the best care possible. And now the same goes for Luigi. There is nothing better than to see progress. To see my little guy improve and regain his wonderful, playful spirit. I'm obviously happy for him but also realize I made the right decision in working with this group. For anyone with an animal needing physical therapy or rehab, I strongly urge you to check out CARE. Our 2 year old German Shorthaired Pointer had a partial tear of his CCL. After several trips to the vet because he was limping we went to the Ortho Specialist per her recommendation and they recommended TPLO surgery. We decided to try alternative options and found C.A.R.E. We did a 2 month program and he saw improvement. It has since been 5 months and he now is for the most part fully recovered. He is able to go on 10+ mile hikes and hunting without any limping or soreness. It was worthwhile and a good experience at C.A.R.E. Hopefully he will maintain his current health. We are glad he did not have to go through the ordeal of surgery.
