I worked for another veterinary group in LA, and it was so busy with people waiting two hours just to check out and pay and that was with four receptionists. I decided to check this place out on a whim--I lived near it and my senior cat was developing an URI. I'm so glad I did! It is so calm in there, and so far, when I have an appointment at whatever time, my pets and I are in the room and the doctor is there at that time. The only time I've spent waiting for a bit in the lobby is when I opted to wait for test results (and they offered to call, it just seemed silly when I live so close by). The staff is so kind and gentle, knowledgable and smart. We've seen Dr. Einman and I really like her: she's honest about what treatments/medication you should definitely do, and what ones aren't necessary but might be beneficial. I've worked in vet offices in Ventura County, LA, and NYC, and based on what I billed over the years, I think their prices are really reasonable--especially for a city veterinary clinic. They don't oversell you on anything and they really make sure you're comfortable with whatever test, medication, or treatment they recommend before they do it. Highly recommend this practice. They remind me of my favorite vet in my boyfriend's tiny, tiny Midwest hometown but better--Park La Brea gives you small town attention with big city resources.
I recently adopted a little puppy and had NO idea what the heck I was doing when calling around for a vet. After calling 7 other vet clinics, I got to speak with the most patient, informative, and loving receptionist (I believe her name is Lisa?). Anyway, she was able to answer my questions, schedule me an appointment that made sense for my little puppy; coupling her needed shots, exam, and other exams into one visit to save me money. I LOVE saving money! Cha-Ching! If you don't know where to start, start here :) I hope this is serves to be helpful.
There good But over prices, 160$!!! For 3 sec diagnostic, I highly don't recommend them
It was time for my dog to have his eternal sleep. As a first time customer in Park La Brea Veterinary Care, I was doubtful and scared to come to a new place for my dog's service. Although 80% of the time I was there, I was in tears, the doctor and the rest of the staff were there by my side comforting me in this hard time. I am greatful for this place.
We have been going there for a few years now. The receptionist is great, very caring and patient, even when they seem to be busy. Dr. Rattan is also very nice and great with our cat.
