Since my initial review of VCC and Dr. Erin Wilson we had to take our 250 lb English Mastiff there for a stubborn skin infection which we had attempted to have treated (unsuccessfully) by 2 other animal hospitals. We were so impressed by the care she provided our girl that we thought we might as well try one more time to heal this persistent problem. Dr. Wilson prescribed a topical ointment and a very expensive antibiotic. I asked for a written prescription as, in the past, I have always tried to get all of my canine prescriptions filled at Costco to save big bucks. This time I decided to see, in advance, how much I would be saving so I called Costco while waiting for Dr. Wilson to write the script. Wow! I was shocked, for the same brand name drug, VCC was cheaper than Costco! Unheard of. Needless to say I will get my canine prescriptions at VCC now which saves me a trip to Costco. I am stunned by some of the other reviews on Yelp allegedly claiming high prices and profit motivated care. I say Bull***t. VCC saved me about 10% under Costco and the best news of all that stubborn skin infection is cured! No other vet had been able to do that. Not only that but the chemotherapy for our cancer patient was less than half the price of what the oncologist wanted to charge for the same drug. The amputation surgery was $2,000 less than the orthopedic surgeon wanted to remove her cancerous leg. I forgot my wallet when we recently took our new puppy in for his initial exam and they said "Don't worry, call from home with a credit card or mail a check." We took our adopted cat in for an office visit and a shot and when they heard that it was "Sadie's cat" (Sadie was our cancer victim Mastiff) they waived the office visit fee and charged only for the vaccine. So please, don't believe these bogus reviews - see for yourself. Obvious to me anyway that VCC is not the money mongering, greedy business that some reviewers would have you believe. They are the kindest, most effective vets we have found in the L.A. area to date. By the way, we also had the pleasure of working with Dr. April Rogers recently and she too is a wonderful vet. Highly recommended. We love our dogs as though they are our children my recommendation does not come lightly.

I have had not one but TWO HORRIBLE experiences at this clinic. Not only is one particular staff member ignorant and rude but the management crew is just as ignorant. They know NOTHING about billing. The owner Doug has no people skills and claims he has an educated staff. Apparently he knows nothing about running a business and HIPPA. one staff memeber was openly speaking about my account in front of other people. These people are horrible and are so ignorant. I will never go to this clinic ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have had 4 experiences with this clinic, all extremely good. We were served promptly, the doctors are friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are fair. This is one of the best vets we have experienced in our 20+ years of living in LA.

I love these people as professionals and individuals.
