I had to take my Maya in Christmas 12/25/14 because she was lethargic and not eating. Dara immediately took her to be examined which gave me such relief. This was during a busy time as there were four other owners there with their babies. Dr.Ted Burghardt came out, introduced himself and sat with us where we sat and briefed us on what he wanted to do. Money was an issue with us but Dara worked with Dr.Burghardt to evaluate our bill to where he thought we could approach her care without breaking the bank. Maya came home two days later with a diagnosis of Diabetes. We were scared but she is now on a very small dose of insulin and is doing much better. Bethany is delightful and super caring. It's a busy hospital but they strove to do the best they could and they delivered with my Maya.

The vets are nice enough every time and professional, I have been more than once. The vets are not the problem. Every time I go here it's same dance, vet leaves the room, somebody else comes in with huge list of charges. Things my dog does not need but I will pay for because I feel like there is no choice and nobody to discuss it with. I know this happens at most vets, I don't have a problem with it, because it's expected. I do object to the aggressive way they behave if you question anything. This last time it was over the top. I tried to talk to Customer "Service" manager Lisa but she is rude, unfriendly, and dismissive. Does NOT want to help you, or your pet. If you have an issue, they do not offer customer care, they show you the door. You have been warned. I will never go back. Not somewhere you want to take your pets, because if they treat customers so badly, imagine how they treat your pets behind the scenes.

went for a six am appointment; pre surgery for my 13 year old dog. Vet not there, which i found odd since it is a 24 hour emergency clinic as well as a vet office. Then we were told vet running late and now doing rounds so we left, after getting "attitude" from the employee at the desk. These are my observations about this business. 1. They offer free wi fi which is an indication that they are always running behind schedule. They placate you by having you zone out on your electronic device. 2. They attempt to do too many things from boarding to boxer rescue to emergency to grooming to doggie day care. My experience with this office is that they do not do all of these things well. 3. it is difficult to build a relationship with a vet because of high turnover. I will not be returning, unless of course it is the middle of the night kind of emergency; which I hope doesn't happen.

Best place in San Diego! We drive all the way up from North Park to have our Dogs taken care of here. The staff is beyond caring and professional. The place is always very clean and it's open 24 hours for emergencies. They always recommend what is the BEST for the care of the animals and let you decide what works best for you and your budget.

Had the worse experience ever!!! they are soo expensive and inconsiderate, they charged me an arm and a leg for shots that cost half the price at other vets, on top of that their grooming section has the worse personnel, they are RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL they gave my yorkie a horrible haircut, had a horrible experience for his 1st grooming!!!!
