Dr. Fahmy and the entire staff have been nothing but excellent over the years I've gone there. I trust his opinions...even when it came time to make the decision to put one of my sweet babies down. He and the staff care so much about the pets and their owners. I HIGHLY recommend them.

The vet is excellent with my dog who has anxiety issuses but he has no fear with this vet. They can be pricey on the meds in which you can get cheaper at a pharmacy. The only problem I have is the staff returning my phone calls. My dog needs to be on anxiety medication, they won't call me back with a prescription so I can order the medication online.. Overall, my dog has been treated great and has no fear when it's "vet" time.

Dr Fahmy has been my vet for the last 10 years and has bailed us out and helped out animals more times than I can count. Never once has he ordered unnessecary testing, and has always helped us make the best choices possible with the strain of veterinary expenses. He is extremely caring and gentle with the animals. Veterinary work is expensive, so naturally at times I would call other vets for comparative pricing. That only proved to show how much he was helping us financially as well. All in all, veterinary visits often involve heartbreaking decisions with members of the family, I am glad to have Dr Fahmy on my side to help get through these decisions and my happy healthy pet still with me. So, if you are new in town or looking for a new vet, you will get excellent and caring service at a fair price and possibly the excellent long term relationship I have had here at Marina.

When I found a little stray in need of care, I took it here and they wanted to do preventative care for everything and even charged me $10 for a flea comb. I keep hearing from other pet owners that this vet cares more about his boat than about animals.

Before Marina, I was taking my 13 year old dog Funny to VMSG, which are specialists. They were rude, cold hearted, and only cared about money. My dog wasn't able to urinate and when he did, he peed blood clots. It was really sad. VMSG and Adobe were not able to find out what was wrong with him. VMSG wanted to charge us about $1500 for testing, on top of the $1000 we had already spent....just to find out what was wrong with him. They also charged us $150 on top of the visit cost everyday to catheterize my dog Funny. I ended up calling all vets in Ventura County and really loved the way Marina spoke to me. Every other vet was cold.. I took him in every since, they catheterized him for only $20... and charged us about $200 for the tests... We soon found out Funny had prostate cancer. It was severe and we had no choice but to put him to rest. It was painful, but I feel blessed that Marina took such good care of him. Funny was so happy every time we took him in there, despite the pain he was in. They felt our pain when we put him to rest, and sent us a beautiful card that made us all cry. They really cared about our financial struggles, and more importantly, the health of our dog. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THEM!
