I called with a parakeet who was not doing well. I had to wait a week and a half with my bird suffering before they would see her. The doctor said the bird was egg bound. He brought the bird into another room and I think he had tried to force the egg out because I could hear the bird sceaming through the wall. When he returned the bird had blood comming out of it's cloaca but he said nothing about it. He told me to bring the bird back the following tuesday if the egg had not come out. Within 24 hours the bird was dead. This guy caused internal hemorrhaging that killed my bird and they still had the nerve to charge me $55.
This place is ABSOLUTELY a joke... These vets and techs DO NOT know what they are doing... I took my Ibizan Hound in to get him neuter and get his MINOR, the size of a small marble umbilical hernia corrected and the decided to cut a "V" shape incision in his stomach and only put TWO stitches in it one at the top and one at the bottom leaving a GAPING hole in the center... when I went in to get it fixed they didnt fix it blamed it on me letting my dog licking it and charged me for extra meds... Now my dog has a scar that is larger than the original hernia...A week later a friend of ours took his pup to get neutered and without informing him that they would need to cut three extra incisions they did it anyways and now the pup is in twice the pain.... These people are terrible and you truly get what you pay for CRAP!?!?!
This is by far the best Vet office I have ever taken a pet to (and I've had enough to fill Noah's arc at this point). I'm not sure where the bad reviews could possibly come from, but we have taken out pets there for almost 5 years. We live 2 hours away if that gives you any idea of how good they are. I have tried a few vets locally and always wind up coming here afterward for second opinions and better prices (hundreds of dollars difference sometimes!). They are more knowledgeable about working with rescued animals. I wish I could find a Dr for myself that is as good as these Vets .
