I will try to keep this short. Vet said my dog needed surgery and it would cost $845. I told them that was a lot of money, so he opted for something less expensive. Turns out, his diagnosis was wrong. He only had a foxtail and didn't need surgery after all. Hmm. Charges are very high for meds. Vet sold me a pain med, and he charged $20 for 5 pills! I later looked online, and it's a generic med that's been around for 40 years. I am sure if my Dr. wrote the same prescription, I could get 30 for $4 at Walmart or Walgreens. I felt like a sucker for paying this guy, and I was. Will never go back.
