Yesterday we had to euthanize our best Collie friend for ten plus years. His quality of life had reached a point where he couldn't function and he was in continual pain. His last two days he had gone down hill very fast. I contacted the Palm Springs Animal Hospital to ask about the process when you euthanize an animal. They were very graceful and understanding. I was unable to get to the vet until their closing time. The staff greeted us very kindly and explained the process very thoroughly. They remained open so this procedure could take place. All of my questions were answered. I was allowed time to grieve privately and wasn't rushed. Ending our best friend's life was one of the most painful decisions of ever. At least I know that he was treated well during the process and didn't suffer more. I would highly recommend this business for your pet care needs.

I had started bringing my dogs into this vet office for their shots. I recently went in to discuss saving money and asked about the cost of a shot. It was considerably more than I had paid on previous occasions. I went back in to ask more about their shot pricing, and the explanation was confusing. In addition, the person that had quoted me the higher price refused to give me their name, kept laughing at me, and ignored my questions about pricing. I said that I was going to complain and this person said they were calling the cops. I said I would love to see him explain to a couple of cops how me asking about dog shot pricing is somehow a crime. Needless to say, this office is not a trouble free place for those people that may not be liked by the person that laughed at me, refused to tell me his name, ignored my questions, did not explain the shot pricing very well, and I suppose called the cops. I am never bringing any dogs into this office in the future because of the person’s outrageous behavior and creation of communication problems. I would have put zero stars. However, that is not an option

Dr. Heinen was great and caring. I have never experienced such great service for my pet. He saved our little dog's life and we are very grateful for that.

I've been very pleased with the Palm Springs Animal Hospital, both back when Dr. Salk was there and now with Dr. Heinen. Besides the "personal touch", the entire staff that works there has always been friendly, knowledgeable, and professional as well, more so than some "people doctor" staffs around here.

We simply could not have been more impressed with our visit to the PSAH. We are from Alaska and our senior dog was in need of seeing a Vet immediately. We explained our dogs symptoms and we were promptly given an appointment. Our Tech's; (there were 3 that attended us), were fabulous and the visiting Veternarian Dr. Marlene Folden was exceptional. She gave us her undivided attention. Her recommendations were reasonable and we proceeded with the necessary labs and radiology. We were given a diagnosis, along with a care plan and needed medications. We were then instructed on how to use these medications to make her condition more comfortable until she could be seen for an ultrasound. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who has "children with paws." On a personal note; we would like to thank Sherry, Jennifer, Dr. Folden and the rest of the Staff for their compassion and commitment to quality of care. It was by these qualities that we were allowed the time to react to the diagnosis with dignity and the time to make a plan for our girl. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
