I did a lot of research on local vets before choosing Poway Animal Hospital. Their staff is very professional and sweet. And all the doctors are amazing. I feel like I get quality care for my 3 dogs. I appreciate their passion for making sure we do what is best for my furry kids. I have been through everything from puppy stuff to senior care and never had an issue. I need to feel comfortable with the environment and people when it comes to my animals and trust them and I definitely feel that way with Poway Animal Hospital :)

Dr. Tegue went right to work examining, testing and diagnosing our dog very quickly. She got us an appointment with a specialist right away. She has checked up on Graeme by calling us and also keeping in touch with the specialist. Dr. Smith, Dr. Shinzaki, Dr. Teague and their staff have been caring for our cats and dogs for the past 16 years, through the good and the sad. I highly recommend them as very competent and caring vets!

We have been taking our cats to Poway Animal Hospital for 15 years. Not only have they given annual physicals and vaccinations, but they've helped us through the deaths of two elderly cats, and have tended to the care of two kittens as well, so we can speak to their care throughout the life cycle. They are outstanding vets! They have always given excellent advice and the highest quality care. They've suggested needed tests, and helped us navigate the tricky waters of which tests would be helpful (and, equally important, which would just be an expense without much benefit) when one of our cats had advanced kidney disease and cancer. I'd like to praise Dr. Smith, in particular, for his concern and compassion during the last days of our elderly cats. The entire staff, in fact, treated us with such caring and understanding -- it was quite extraordinary. This is simply a fantastic veterinary practice!

Been going there for almost twenty years. They are great. Desk staff is friendly and helpful. The doctors are knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and good at communicating options without being pushy. Saved one cat twice. Would not think of going elsewhere.

I adore Poway Animal Hospital. I have been going there for over 13 years (with my first dog and now with our new puppy). The level of service is beyond outstanding. When we found out that our first dog had cancer, the vets at Poway Animal Hospital did everything they could and were able to save our beloved family pet. Years later, when the inevitable had to happen, the physicians and staff at Poway Animal Hospital was extremely compassionate and caring in our time of sorrow. Now we have a new puppy and were very excited to return to our excellent vets! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Poway Animal Hospital - I do not believe I could find better care for may animals anywhere!
