Our experience at High Valley Vet Hospital made a bad situation a lot more comfortable. We had our small dog Troy who had been seeing a heart specialist in north county. Troy had a bad turn during the evening and was in distress in the morning and the specialist didn't open till 10am. I had never been to High Valley Vet as I was new to Ramona but called them and said I thought I might have to put our little Troy to sleep as he was elderly and the heart condition was chronic and progressive. Despite the fact I didn't have an appointment, they said to come right in. We didn't sit in the waiting room more than 5 minutes and the vet's assistant Stacy was so wonderful, compassionate and kind. The vet we saw, Dr. Wendy Lipman, was equally compassionate and was very patient and spent time with us as we struggled with the horrible decision of whether to put our beloved pet to sleep. She answered all our questions and guided us to make a decision so we weren't left feeling guilt and regret afterwards. Despite the pain, we knew Troy would be spared future pain and struggle. Both Stacy and Dr. Lipman helped make a terrible event feel warm and caring. Troy was given time, attention and love from them and his last little breath was witnessed by us and staff who cared. I would recommend anyone use their services. Thank you Stacy and Dr. Lipman.

Very, compassionate and excellent care for their patients! Truly AMAZED by the Dr.s & staff... They go above and beyond for both their patients and the owners! Went threw a tragic & quick illness with our beloved pet. They were there with soo much support and EXCELLENT care for ALL of us! Would highly recommend HIGH VALLEY VET.

High Valley Veterinary Hospital has the most caring and compassionate Doctors and staff I have ever been cared for by. They truly understand that our pets are part of our family and care for them with experience and tenderness. I have had to have a beloved rat put to sleep and I have taken my dog Daisy to them when she had a foxtail in her ear. Both times they worked us in and were very kind and caring. They also have very caring patients. I will go back to them for all my pet's Veterinary care.
