Always so helpful and kind. It's always good when the Vets and other staff have people skills too! They offered us bottles of water while waiting and always follow up with a call to check up on out kitty. During our appointments, they always talk us through each procedure and are very up front about costs. We had a bad experience at our prior vet, so Cordova is such a breath of fresh air. We've had both Dr. Alexander and Dr. Thomas and they are both so kind!

The customer service I've received here has ranged from very good to amazing. I was first introduced to this place when my best friend wanted to bring her new puppies here. Because there were two of them and one of her, she asked me to come along to help with all their initial puppy visits (I don't know how many it was but I'd guess it was something like 5-6 visits?). The people at the desk were always warm, usually remembering the dogs names on site, and I got the feeling that they, along with the vets and technicians, truly love animals. So when my husband and I got a kitten, having had great experiences with them, this was the place we chose. They didn't treat our kitty with any less love and affection than they did our friend's dogs. A few weeks ago, our precious kitty was yelp/crying when I picked her up and hiding under desks like something was very wrong with her. I called them for an appointment and they got her in that day. They treated her very well (even though she was being a scratchy little spitfire because she was in pain) took Xrays on the spot and got her taken care of with some pain medication. Then they called me that night to let me know what they second opinion had been on the Xrays and called to check on her every day until she was better. I can't imagine better people to entrust our precious little kitty to.

I had an amazing experience with Cordova Vet Hospital! I brought in my Aussie, Holly, because she had been experiencing skin issues for several months that just kept getting worse, and we were starting to get worried. No fleas, but she was constantly biting and scratching, and she was losing hair and getting scabs all over from the scratching. She can be kind of crazy, but the staff was super nice about it even though she barks/jumps. The techs and receptionists were VERY sweet. I didn't have to wait very long before they took me to get her weighed then to the exam office. I waited about 10 minutes before the doctor came in. Dr. Cobler saw Holly and she was just wonderful. She took Holly's heart rate herself and looked her over very thoroughly. She explained everything she thought about Holly's skin issues and gave me several options and suggestions for treatment. They were all very reasonable and she thoroughly explained everything I would need to do as well as what I should expect to see in Holly as the treatment went on. I thought their costs were very fair. Their office visits are $48, which is pretty much the same as every other vet I've ever gone to, and with Holly's medicine, my total came to about $150. Sorry, but animals can cost a lot of money, and I don't think $150 for an office visit and a bag full of medicine and supplements is expensive at all. It was actually way less than I was expecting to pay! They didn't do any unnecessary procedures or try to sell me anything they didn't think Holly needed. They were just awesome.

They really love animals. I felt a little pressure to go with the more expensive treatment for my dog when she was nurt but once a decision was made to go the less invasive and therefore less sucessful route I felt supported in my decision. My dog has healed beautifully. I am so greatful.
