We have had wonderful experiences at Rocklin Road. We were lifelong patrons of Loomis Basin but switched to Rocklin Road after a horrible experience at Loomis. Dr. Grunder provided a very compassionate "quality of life" exam for our late dog Mia when we thought she was near the end. When it was finally time, he was able to put her down at our home where she was comfortable. He's also been great with our younger dog who has epilepsy. Highly recommend!

We have been seeing the folks at Rocklin Road Animal Hospital for years. Even when Dr. Grundner was in Roseville. He is compassionate and caring. His staff is very helpful and knowledable.We recently moved out of state and still keep in touch from time to time with some of the people there. I had five cats at one time and he cared for them all.

NOTE: This review is based on my visit and discussion with the staff. I did NOT leave my dog here (for a good reason). While the facility is nice, I couldn't get passed the fact that they take the dogs out only twice a day for potty breaks. After our visit, I called back to confirm this. I asked the staff, "Am I understand you correctly?? You mean the dogs have to hold it for 12 hours at a time??". She responded with, "Well, they get out once in the morning, and once mid-day sometime. And 'usually' once before the end of the day. But if they don't, it's ok. They can pee or poo in their kennel space. It will just go down the drain." This is not a place that cares about my dog. PASS!!

We adopted a baby basset hound a few months back and this place has been so wonderful to us. Being a first time doggie parent, I was very concerned over the smallest things. I called the vet numerous times upon adopting our pup and the vet staff were so patient and helpful during these times and were always there to help. I feel like we have found our pup a great doctor and we couldn't be more pleased. Thank you!!
