I'm concerned about the service provided by one of the Veterinary technicians/receptionist whose behavior toward animals and customers alike are questionable at best. My Dogs have been in for multiple surgeries and visits and I have witnessed this technician "SHELLY" rough house and or strong arm the animals, claiming it is policy to escort animals to the back without the owners present, as her words were, "animals are calmer without the owners present" On one occasion she couldn't get my dog out of the kennel and asked for my help, she said, "just drag him, we do this all the time" On another occasion my dog wouldn't go to her so she looped a collar around his neck and attempted to drag him only ending up choking him when the Doctor walked in. After surgery I noticed two minor lacerations on the dogs head after surgery which is IN QUESTION? The Doctors and the staff are top notch professionals, however Shelly's ethics and professional demeanor are questionable at best and any animal owner should be concerned when leaving their animals in this persons hands. I have personally spoke with the Doctor concerning this matter in hopes of a resolution.
