I love the doctors at Natomas Veterinary Hospital. The doctors and the staff are amazing and truly care about your animals. We travel back and forth between Hawaii and California with our two dogs and that can be tricky. If you do not cross every "T" and dot every "I" the State of Hawaii wil quarantine your animal at your expense. Natomas Vet knows the drill and we have never had a problem. Would not blink and eye to give them 5 stars for their care.
Dr. Krish is amazing. She's been seeing our dogs for over 10 years now. She's kind and compassionate and take a lot of time with our pets. Yes, she's expensive but you get what you pay for. We wouldn't go anywhere else.
I wanted to share my experience. This place is very expensive, but so are most Natomas Vet offices. They can be friendly and they can be rude. I use to go there in spite of this with my puppy. One day she got out because a babysitter let her out when the gate was open. I was so depressed I looked for her very hard. When I received a call from someone who had seen my flyer, I was surprised to find that the person who took my dog had gone to Natomas Vet clinic, our vet who we had seen less than a month before, to check for a microchip. When I called the vet clinic to get any information they said there was no way it could be my dog because it was too big. After I described the collar etc. and told them duh, "she's a puppy they grow!", they finally realized they had let my puppy go out the door with a stranger who verbally told the receptionist they were going to keep it because the owner should have microchipped the dog. The ironic thing was I was going to get them microchipped the following month with that vet and the vet knew that! So not only is this place rude, overpriced, but they don't even know who there clients are. And let me tell you they were not helpful in getting my Pure bred German Shepherd back. I did get her back, needless to say I switched vets to someone who would know me when they saw me and my baby.
The vets here are very friendly and patient. I so appreciate their willingness to acclimate me to being a first-time dog owner. It's like human doctors. If you want good bedside manner and great diagnostic skills, that means you might pay more. This is not a budget treat-and-street clinic. They do charge high retail for prescriptions, but also tipped me off to filling one at Target for almost free. I can't ask for more (other than all of this at treat-and-street prices).
Dr. Kirsch is wonderful and caring. I just hate calling to make an appointment, because you don't know how you are going to be treated by the front office staff. Some are very nice, others are very rude. If that were fixed, it would be a great place to go.
