VCA Sacramento treated us with compassion immediately upon entering the center. We walked in, they asked if we were Calvin's "parents" (I'd called ahead) and immediately announced "triage in the waiting room." Calvin was immediately examined, diagnosed, and surgery was successfully performed within a few hours. They clearly communicated our treatment options, over-estimated the price a bit to give us a worst case scenario, and really helped us to make an educated decision. We had our little guy home in a day, with frequent follow up calls by the vet. They were extremely professional and compassionate. I never felt rushed in talking with the vet or the technicians, and cannot recommend them enough. Nicely done, VCA!!

Rather expensive, but if you need your animal's life saved in the middle of the night, they're the ones to call. I am so glad they were there when I needed them. I don't know what I would have done otherwise.

God forbid anyone have to go through what my more dog went through but if you do take them to these guys. The staff was greatly helpful and just all around kind. They took my dog in who needed to have surgery on his spine. I really was not confident that he was going to make it but they took great care of him and we were able to bring him home after a couple days and now he is back on his feet. I have to try keeping him still for his recovery but it is awesome to see him so spunky again.

I took my dog in here on night because he had, had diarrhea for 4 days and then he started throwing up blood....freaked me out. I called VCA and they told me to come on it. Dr. Tarver and staff that night were really great. He explained what all the test results were. This place is pricey, but I guess its worth it.

We brought in our GoldenDoodle about a year ago after he ran into a piece of scrap iron in our yard, filleting his chest. As my wife and I are both freaking out the staff calmed us down and the Dr. was incredible and did an amazing job on Colby and helped us with the aftercare .
