I adopted a puppy with mange and various other related problems. Her mange relapsed after her third set of puppy shots and ALL of my dogs hair fell out. Dr. Amin got her on the road to recovery very quickly and only charged me for her medication (mange can be a very expensive condition to cure). He was just as happy as I was to see her progress and made sure to explain everything about her condition to me (including having me see what the mites look like under the microscope). I have since moved about 20 miles away but will still bring my puppy to Avenida Animal Hospital!

Dr. Amin is the best. He is straightforward, helpful, professional and nice. His staff is average... improvements can be made. Overall a great place to take your animal. He's been Baxter's vet for the past 6 years, and has always listened to and remembered all the little nuances of my dog. I also appreciate not being upsold on things I dont need.

I know his name sounds like "I'm mean," but he is very nice, and very patient. He offers the lowest prices, and is very professional. Our dog Lucy has grown up with him, and even though we've moved to Newport Beach, we are going to drive all the way down there to make sure that she gets the care that she needs.

Great staff and great Vet. Always take my French BD here and I am always very happy with his treatment. They do not scam you like (SCVet).
