Thank you for caring for my elderly fathers dog Daisy. She was very old with a heart condition and needed her leg amputated we were hesitant of going through with the surgery but the staff and the Doctor were very comforting to our concern. The surgery went great. She was such a happy 3 legged dog afterwards nothing could stop her. It was nice to see her happy again. Thank You ABC Vet for doing such a great job with Daisy. My father and Daisy are both elderly and are so happy together. Thank you for allowing my father to have his best friend for a few more years.

We have been taking our dogs here for a few years years now and have always received excellent service and care from Dr. Weber and his staff. We had one dog who was a terror and she was always treated with gentleness. She was bitten by a rattlesnake a few years back and she never recovered from that. After a year or two she started losing functions of her hind legs and was unable to stand well. Dr Weber gave us some choices but none that would cure her and we couldn't bear to watch her suffer any longer so we decided to put her down. I have never seen such a kind and loving group of staff as well as Dr. Weber who really comforted me at this very sad time. They followed up with phone calls and even took the time to send me a beautiful card with messages from everyone. My experience was one I will never forget...I love this place.

I have been going to the vet hospital at this location for 30 years. Since ABC took over a few years ago, I have been bringing my cats to be treated by Dr. Weber and Dr. Heidt. Both of these vets are excellent. They know the history of my cats and are very compassionate people. Health care for animals is expensive and these vets have not ordered anything for my cats that wasn't necessary. The staff here is very friendly and always ask how my cats are doing when I come in. I recommend this vet hospital to all my friends.

I took my dog to my regular veterinarian and they wanted to charge me $300 to spay my dog. I had heard that ABC hospitals offer low cost spay and neuter plans as a public service so I took her there. My dog did great following the surgery and they only charged me $100 including pain medications. Both my dog and I were treated like gold through the whole experience. I could not recommend this hospital more highly.

We have been taking our pets to ABC in Hillcrest for a number of years now, and Julie and Dr Heidt have seen us through both the highs and lows of having four legged loved ones in our family. I'll admit, I tried another vet once (a snazzy coupon/discount swayed me), and while my experience there was not awful, it just didn't leave a lasting impression on me like ABC SD did. Julie, Dr Heidt and all the gang there are consistently friendly, compassionate, full of helpful information, and exceptionally patient with both animals and humans. Having them there for us when we lost both a dog and a cat within a short period of time, and seeing their compassion for us and our pets is what made the most lasting impression on our family. Even though we moved to North County, today we brought our new puppy there for her first visit. Someone asked why we don't just go to a vet closer to home, but I never had a doubt about who her vet would be. When you've found such a stellar team, why should you go anywhere else!!!
