Our dogs have been cared for by the WONDERFUL staff at Ark for over 16 years. Everyone there is caring and knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to be sure that our fluffies receive the best possible care. The hours are great, the cost reasonable, lots of parking, excellent facilities. I especially appreciate the follow up calls after one of the dogs has been sick or had a procedure to see how he is doing. Another thing none of our friends seem to have at their dogs' vets is an after-hours number to leave a message where the vet will call back and offer advice - that's been a wonderful benefit too. We love Ark and they love our boys - and our boys love the staff (just not shots!) :)

This clinic has a great staff. Very friendly, shows concern, and reasonable. They supply flea busters, an awesome product. They also accept Care Credit and make appointments promptly. I have had three of my cats there with no complaint.

They like to charge this URGENT VISIT FEE which is about double the regular fee without telling the customers that until after they have seen the doctor. Worst part is that they didn't prescribe anything to my ailing dog. I went to Grand Animal hospital and the fee was a lot less for getting my dog in on the same day. No extra charges and they gave my dogs antibiotics and a shot. This is my second try of coming to this place since it is so much closer to my house but I won't anymore! I suggest they stop reserving spots for URGENT Visits and just schedule as you can, otherwise book it for the next day so people won't get cheated.

I have seen Dr. Hetzler thoughout my life as a cat caregiver (though I think it's they that care for us). My first cat Punky was very ill at 9 years old - lots of lung and heart issues - when I decided it was time to put her down - Dr. Hetzler and his staff were extremely comforting - giving me every ounce of time needed to say good bye. I'll never forget his words of "Take your time Mary - no need to hurry this". I've since gotten a wonderful cat Maddie - and Dr. Hetzler sees to her every needs. When I become concerned over anything - he's my first to call and go see. I wouldn't change vets for anything.

Be avare of this clinic. They blow out the vein of my Pug giving IV so I end up paying extra 1K at the SD vet surgery finihing therapy of my dog there.
