My frustration with Pacific Petcare stems from communication problems. The vet will tell me one thing at the appointment, such as "call when your dog needs a refill," but then refuse the refill when I call. Or, when my cat was lame, seen by the vet and diagnosed with arthritis on her X-rays, and in great pain, the vet said, "call if she is still limping in 3 days and I will give her a pain medication." She was still on 3 legs 3 days later, but again they refused to give her the medication when I called. I'm not asking for anything--honestly, just trying to follow orders! I don't understand why I consistently am told one thing in the office, but face a brick wall when I try to implement the instructions. It's very, very frustrating. And, it's been happening consistently for several years on my pets--all four of which see the doctors for annual exams, immunizations, infections and so forth... I'm not trying to skimp, believe me! But, I am looking for a new vet.
