We adopted our dog in October and took her to see Dr. Houston and his team for her first check up. What a wonderful experience! Everyone was so patient and caring. Dr. Houston was very open and honest and we did not feel they tried to push any unnecessary treatments on us. We leave in a very dog friendly neighborhood and have found many other dog owners that have had the same experience. They just cannot say enough about Dr. Houston. We are so happy to have found them and are confident our little Mimi is in great hands.

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Houston and his staff for over 20 years and have never had a dissatisfactory experience. His staff is always kind, caring and genuinely concerned about my cats (and the family too of course). Dr. Houston himself is an excellent vet who gives you all the options available and is willing to support all decisions made. His compassion for both the pets and the people is truly outstanding. The Pet Hospital of Tierrasanta is a wonderful, caring place. They have taken such great care of my feline companions for so many years that I continue to go back to them for my pet's care and health needs - even though I have moved across town! And that's because for over a decade I have been more than satisfied - sometimes, deeply moved - by their high level of care and compassion for the four-legged members of my family!

Dr Houston gave my tiny dog a dental, had to extract several of her teeth. He uses a first rate anesthesia (Sevoflurane) which allowed her to recuperate very quickly. That very afternoon she was romping! I am confident in the knowledge of Dr Houston.

My experience with the Pet Hospital of TierraSanta started back in 1997, when I got stationed in San Diego from Orange County. My inital exposure was to Dr. Houston, who is very personable, knowledgeable, and an outstanding Veterinarian. The rest of the staff over the years continue to exhibit outstanding professionalism and care for the customers and animals alike. Our family would like to attribute the longevity and health of our animals (cat 14 years, the other 20 years old) to Dr. Houston and his staff for their superb care. Though our original cats have passed on, we continue to support this establishment with our family pets.
