I had the worst experience here back in September the staff is not friendly and the dr doesn't seem to really care also the whole place has a bad vibe I took my dog here for a few years and I'm glad I no longer take them there I found one that is so much better in costumer service and the dr is passionate about animals
After I moved to the San Fernando Valley, I had a hard time finding a good veterinarian for my cat. I took her to 3 different ones, each had a problem (unhygienic facility, uncaring doctors, or too expensive). This year, I decided to take her to the San Fernando Pet Hospital for her annual exam after I read the good reviews here. I am so happy to finally find a very good vet here in the valley. Dr. George Makkar took his time to review my cat’s previous medical records and to carefully check her. He asked several questions and was even able to find some problems just by feeling her abdomen. Later that day, we were able to see what he was concerned about in the XRay photos. This is a sign of a good doctor. He offered a great advice to improve my cat’s health, and would not even charge me for the RX food he gave me for her special diet. The facility was very clean and quiet. The next day Dr. Makkar called me to explain my cat’s blood test results. I have never before gotten a call from another vet here in the valley to explain anything; not even from that vet in Chatsworth, who charges more than $400 just for a blood test. This facility is great. I trust Dr. George Makkar, who is now my cat’s new vet. I would not go anywhere else.
