Dr. Halbach is the best vet that I have ever met. He is very skilled and knowledgeable, as well as compassionate. He did surgery on my daughter's beautiful cocker spaniel who had cancer, and took care of her when she was dying. It was a very difficult time for her and us, but he was the best. I now take my two dogs to his office. His staff is wonderful. I will not go to another vet. I now reccomend to everyone that I work with that has pets or anyone else that I meet that is in need of a good vet. He is absolutely the best without question. Even my husband, who is not really a pet person thinks very highly of Dr. Halbach and speaks of him as such. Maggie

Dr. Halbach is the best vet you can find. My family took our dogs to San Lorenzo veterinary hospital from before I was born until I was a senior in high school. Our German shepherd was a pain to take to the vet, but the entire staff was amazingly patient and friendly no matter how big a fuss she was. Our dalmatian was a vet bill catastrophe. He was very ill several times and was declared to have terminal cancer by emergency vets on more then 1 occasion. Dr. Halbach found him to have a condition common for his breed (not cancer) and he was put on prescription dog food, giving him at least 5 more years of life (prescription dog food is exspensive, but we could not find anywhere that sold it less than San lorenzo veterinary hospital). Both times we put our dogs down, we were able to stay with our dogs as long as we wanted and the entire staff was genuinely sympathetic to our pain. Even though I now live quite a distance away, I'm bringing my new puppy to Dr Halbach because he is worth the drive.

Our rescue dogs and friends' dogs have been going to Dr. Halbach for many years. He has years of knowledge and experience, and has a caring attitude towards his patients. He took care of my disabled dog for 2.5 years, we tried everything and anything to get her better. He made a connection with my pet that is so important to me. I will take my animals to him any time.
