What most people don't know is that Dr Pearson works with over 6 rescue organizations donating services and time for dogs that without her would not stand a chance. Because her office does not require appointments it saves us so much time and allows us to provide care for so many more rescued dogs. Her staff are so caring and empathetic for the needs of the pets. They are fast, knowledgeable and they go the extra step to make sure your pet is well cared for and you feel like you are giving the best for your pets at an affordable price.
First time I went here. I wanted to give it a shot because it was close to home. I called 2 days in advance to make an appointment for my 3 dogs. I had even offered to bring them in separately if it'd be too much for them to handle but they said it'd be best to bring them all in for examination and treatment. They girl also told me it'd be a free examination because they've never seen me before. When I got there, they acted like they weren't expecting me. Once I brought in all 3 of my dogs (a pom, a pug, and a husky), they all looked at me like, "ugh great." The staff did not seem welcoming whatsoever nor did they look like they wanted my business. To top it off, Dr. Pearson was awfully rude; didn't even introduce herself when she came in! She acted like she was so annoyed of all my dogs trying to sniff her. I tried making a friendly conversation but she ignored everything I pitched. Since she didn't want to talk, we got straight to the point of the exam. She only examed what i asked her to instead of fully examining my dogs. She did the exam so fast, I felt like my dogs health didn't matter to her. For example, I told her I was concerned about my dogs having hot spots and all she did was lift up my dogs for 2 seconds and said, "no hot spots." Then left. Her tech came in and gave me the bill for 1 dog exam even though the girl told me it'd be free for all 3. I was pretty upset at their own miscommunication with each other. Dissatisfied with my experience, I took my dogs to my old vet in San Diego right after and it turns out that my dogs did have hot spots, an ear infection, some kind of rash, and of course, fleas. Do I recommend this place? No. Would I go back even if my pets were in dire need of help? No. If the staff isn't friendly to me, I can't bring myself to believe that they'll treat my fur kids with care.
I just wanted to thank you for the classy way in which you all helped to me say goodbye to such a great dog and my personal best friend! Dozer was such a special dog.Thank you for letting me be with him until he closed his eyes. That meant so much! My wife and I are so grateful!
I had the pleasure to work with Dr. Pearson awhile back. Such a great vet doctor. She cares so much of the well being of animals and will do her best to comfort the owners and their pets to make them feel at home.
