After the trauma of blindly backing up over my partners new 10 week old German Shepard puppy Fin. We took him to Pet Care Veterinary Hospital on Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa . The staff immediately when into a high state of emergency and within 2 min he was seen by a doctor and rushed for treatment. I was grateful, until the proposed bill arrived which totaled over $4,000. After some heart to heart talks with the Pet Care sales person, they were kind enough to offer alternative options and I chose the services Dr. Peter Hendricks, a retired Vet who never really retired! Oh My God This man is impeccable at his craft, I am writing this after Fin has fully recovered running around for weeks without even a the slightest limp in his stride. Dr Hendricks bedside manner is unparalleled, going so far as to stay up all night with our little pup! The disclosure from all parties all was honest, to the point and much appreciated. Dr Hendricks was able to provide the Cadillac operation for a fraction of the cost. Life is already tough enough and adding the trauma of nearly killing a puppy is shattering, not to mention the surprise cost before the holidays. So I must say all of the people at Pet Care Veterinary Hospital where not shallow by any means but rather very concerned and professional and they also proved that they have a heart by recommending Dr Hendricks and Triple A+++ for Pet Care Veterinary Hospital.

Our 9 yr old Westie, Mulligan, became very seriously ill in the middle of the night. She was in pain and serious distress so off I went to Petcare at 2 in the morning. They were amazing. Her illness was very illusive and mysterious and she stayed in Petcare for a week with IV hydration and antibiotics. She was tested for every conceivable concern. They fed her baby food by hand and were so patient with my multiple daily phone calls and visits. When we had our consultations, we never felt rushed and felt we could ask as many questions as we felt we necessary. Ultimately, she was referred to a Petcare internal medicine vet, Dr Freya Kruger, who was fantastic. The whole team was so dedicated to finding a solution and a protocol that would bring her back. We came very close to losing this sweet little dog but today we are thrilled to report she is almost her total spunky little self again. We are confident her recovery will continue and we are hugely appreciative to the entire Petcare team!!!

We have used Petcare for almost 7 years. Petcare (with 25+ veterinarians) has the critical mass of knowledge and expertise to render cutting edge care. They have specialists whose expertise far exceeds local vets. Further, since everyone is under one roof, a referral to a specialist takes minutes, not days and weeks. They have helped our family through the last (extended) days of one dog's complicated illness and saved the life of another with rapid, specialized surgical intervention. When one of us is sick, I always want the "best scientist" and these people fit that bill. IMHO these folks are the best.

these idiots ABSOLUTELY are useless especially the receptionist. This little girl Is costing this business untold LOST income due to her child like unprofessional behavior I know with how I was mistreated I will never give my business to this vet. Tobad for him.

Our retriever/chow mix, Remy, tore his ACL, and I was so worried about what to do for him. Dr. Gil Robello completely set my mind at ease with his competent care and concern, answering all of our questions before beginning treatment. Remy spent two days at PetCare, and received the very best of care. All of the staff were kind and caring, and called us several times to let us know how Remy was doing. Remy is home now, and although his recuperation will not be short, we know he had the very, very best of care. I would not take our pets to anyone else for surgery. Our pets are our family, and deserve the best of care. This is exactly what they get at PetCare. Thank you so much!!
