I have been taking my kitty to Especially Cats for years. She is very shy and I didn't want to stress her out by going to a vet where there were other animals. Dr. Carter has been her primary doctor for the past few years and she has been wonderful. My cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroid disease and Dr. Carter was extremely helpful in giving guidance as to the best course of treatment. Kitty is now cured via radiation treatments and I am very grateful. Highly recommend.

Excellent care in figuring out the cause(s) of Kimmy's "pee problems". Dr. Buttar explained everything clearly to me so I was able to make an informed decision and consent properly to the tests I wanted to have done and the treatments I chose for my cat. He examined her thoroughly, phoned me more than once to follow up with test results and the next steps for her care. He was considerate regarding the cost of all of these things, and I did not feel that he recommended anything frivolously. Other staff were just as competent. I would definitely recommend this vet for cat-specific issues or unique problems with your cat.

very good but pricey*. excellent service and ability to get appointments when needed. the vets are caring and take an interest. procedures haven't freaked my cat out, which is good, as she's elderly and indulged. * don't have any basis for comparison--this may be market rate for all i know.

Great vet! I like that it is for cats only. Never had any major health issues with my cats, but I was very impressed with how thorough the doctor was when I would bring them in for even the most mild concerns. Highly recommend!

I love Especially Cats. My two cats are elderly now, and I know I can trust the good judgment of Dr. Carter to see them through their golden years. Perhaps because they serve only cats, and therefore do not need to have equipment for every sized creature, EC saves a bit on overhead and seems to pass it on to their customers.Their rates are very good compared to other vets I've tried through the years. All the staff are polite and extremely helpful. I highly recommend Especially Cats.
