Please be careful taking your pets to this place. The "Doctors" are all foreign educated and the educational standards are far different for both USA and foreign Veterinary Schools. With that said look and see how your animals react to the care givers at the institution, a very weird vibe from all of them. Finally, I would recommend all of you to find another Veterinary Hospital as knowledge is power and having the really academic credentials shows through with the animals wellness. There is a new movement in the USA to eliminate all foreign trained physicians and healthcare professionals. They are only here to steal your money and not truly treat your animals. These people should be reported to the AVA along with SF Public Health licensing boards. The Veterinary staff don't even own their own animals!!! ;-(

Got a new puppy in May of 2013. The first few visits were for a check up and were alright. The staff is very pleasant to deal with however the doctors are always in the rush and are trying to sell something every time, things that my dog might even not need. In November 2013 we took our dog in for neutering and the removal of hernia. After 14 days we had to go back in for stitch removal. The doctor again tried to sell us medication for the dog. In December 2013 I noticed that my dog's hernia has gotten worse, and after inspecting it I have noticed that the doctor missed a stitch and it got infected. I called in and made an appoint right way. We can in the stitch was taken out but once again the doctor made me purchase antibiotics a 10 day course. Now it is January 2014 and a few days ago I was playing with my dog and noticed one more stitch sticking out, another one that the doctor forgot to remove. I can not be coming back every month to this clinic to remove stitches one by one. By now my dog is devastated of this place and I do not want to put him through this stress every month. Today hopefully will be my very last time coming here, and that is very unfortunate because the front desk people and all of the assistants are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. On January 11th I had my appointment at 3:30 pm to remove the last stitch that Max had that the doctor has missed. After removing Max's last stitch the doctor did not apologize for missing it, but instead he told me that it should have fallen out on its own, which it's already been 3 months and it still hasn't. Today is January 12th 2014 I have noticed one more stitch that Max still has that the doctor missed once again. I will be attaching a picture of it. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I will go to a different clinic that will have knowledgeable doctors that will make sure that ALL the stitches are removed! PLEASE PLEASE DON'T COME HERE TO SAVE YOURSELF SOME TROUBLE. FYI the doctor that was doing Max's procedure is not even listed as a doctor on their website.

I took my three month old puppy and the service towards people were okay. the doctors were great, but the remaining staff were extremely incompetent. They did not tell me what they were injecting in him, they did not walk me through and i was really anxious and nervous because i had no idea what was going on. They took my puppy's temperature with the same thermometer that was left on the medical bench and after use, it was only wiped clean with a paper towel. i was appalled!! Not only that, but the bill was outrageous! $150 to get his vaccinations whereas other clinics had it at 50!!. they didnt even tell me when i would be needing his next set, unless i asked. i will not be bringing him back.

We took our cat to get a lump checked out in his tail. They put our cat on a stainless steel table to do a biopsy and the table was full of another animal's fur. We were so disgusted. He seemed to be just another cat to them. This was the worst experience we have ever had at a vet and we would never return.
