If I could describe the service of this animal hospital in one word, it would be "inconsiderate." I brought my 11 week old puppy to this clinic on a Sunday evening in hopes of getting answers as to why he was frequently vomiting. Although he had only vomited 3 times in 24 hours, it is a preliminary symptoms of Parvovirus. I think anyone could understand my concern and my eagerness to test him! To make a long story short, we were waiting for about three very long hours only for them to tell us that the evening vet would not be coming in to the clinic. Not only was my puppy completely restless, but both my husband and I were tired of hearing a different excuse every time we asked for an update. First, it was that the day time vets were finished with their shift and that we would have to wait for the evening doctors, then the evening vet had gone into an emergency surgery, then it was that they were waiting on the other vet to finish some paperwork, and lastly we were informed that the doctor would not be coming in! So which lie was the truth? As it appears me, they really could have cared less that my puppy was sick and were unwilling to help us. I understand things happen and sometimes you just have to call in sick, but at least have an on-call veterinarian that can come assist patients. My dog could be seriously ill, and due to their incompetence they were unable to help him. I don't understand how they consider themselves "emergency 24/7" veterinarians with no vets on staff!

I adopted a wonderful Chihuahua mix from Pets Unlimited. The doggies has been one of the best things in my life. The adoption process was very easy and the follow up medical visits were very seamless. It is great they are also an emergency facility and have parking. I highly recommend Pets Unlimited!

I have a labrador and took her in for an unscheduled visit due to an injury. Pets Unlimited was able to see her **right away**. This was outstanding! I was so worried about my dog and they took her right when we walked in. The veterinarian who saw my dog took the time to figure out the root problem. I feel like we had great care. I will definitely go back.

Dr. Anne MacFarlane was great! she was very patient and answered all of my questions. The online pet portal that records the visit and provides reminders for upcoming vaccines for the next year is so helpful also. It's nice to know that I can go there 24/7 if an emergency ever occurred.

I've been going to Pets Unlimited for the past eight years and have nothing but good things to say about the staff, doctors, and shelter. My vet, or my cat's vet, Dr. Kathy Gervais, is an exceptional doctor with an easy bedside manner who always tells me what's necessary and what's not. She even made a visit to my apartment to put down my 13-year-old cat who had developed cancer so that I could say goodbye to him in the comfort of my home. The staff has always been courteous and caring, and the shelter staff is comprised of a great group of people. I would highly recommend Pets Unlimited both for veterinary care and for pet adoptions.
