This place not only has the worst most negative, unhappy, vibe with their workers, they also don't care for animals. The place reeks of animal abuse and the proof is in their policy. If you board your dog's here, their policy is to not let the dogs outside, ever. The never take the dogs outside to a grassy area or anything to play, ever. We were happy when we originally decided to board them here as many places do not allow staffordshire terriers, but they do. We boarded them multiple times here, and every time we picked up the dogs they seemed distraught and out of it for a couple days. We later just found out today, that they do not even let the dogs out of the kennels, ever while they are here. If the dog has to go the bathroom, it has to do it on the concrete in their kennel, and they said they just move the dog to another cage, to clean it the cage. So any normal dog that has been brought up to go to the bathroom outside, has to learn to go on the concrete, and think they are doing something wrong during that time; furthermore, they are forced to remain inside their cage the entire time for their "boarding". This place is disgusting and I would NEVER subject my animals to it again, and feel like a bad owner for not investigating more thoroughly their process of boarding. They are all angry workers, and the lady seemed embarrassed to tell me when I asked how their boarded dogs get taken outside, that they never see outside while they are boarded there.

I have used Bay Cities Pet Hospital since 1998. As a former kennel worker in a show and attack dog kennal I have a lot of experience with animals. I am also an EMT and understand a lot of medical areas. Dr. Rios is the best. Dr Sullivan does the surgeries and I do not know him as well but he has scene my animals and has been great. They have scene my animals through good times and bad. They have worked with me to keep them in good health even when things were stacked against them. The most mermorable is saving my puppies life that had Parvo. Dr. Rios assisted with final arangements and my last moments with two of my animals one cat and one dog. I would not have wanted anyone else there. A very emotional time but she understood and was there for me and my babies. I have delt with diabetis, blindness, injuries, Parvo and the problems animals face as they grow old. They have helped me through all of them. They listen and work with me and my finacial abilities. I would give them a 6 star rating but Google would not let me.

Our visit with Bay Cities Pet Hospital is always been great, we had a golden retriever named Lucy we took her there for almost 3 yrs, when she got sick they were awesome very sympathetic, made sure she was comfortable until the day we had to put her down.July 30, 2011 we rescued a golden retriever her name is Bella we took her there for her first check up on 8/5/11 and they have the best service very pet friendly they talk to the pets while they are being checked in, very concern about their well being. The staff there is great !

We have been using Bay Cities pet Hospital for many many many years. Even before Dr Sullivan and Dr Rios. The are truly fabulous. I recently had to put my beloved Petie to sleep and they were caring, supportive and considerate of my feelings and my Petie. Anyone who bad mouths Bay Cities is a nit picky nagger. I find the cost is reasonable more so than other vets. They are simply the best there is. I appreciate them and trust them in handling my babies health and well being. I find it hard to believe that People on here say that they do not consult you when working with your pet. They walk with you every step of the way. I am confident you are just complaining as you did not take good care of your pet and you are just upset as you had to put out a little extra money due to your negligence not Bay Cities! They will forever have my admiration, respect and devotion! Tina

I love this place. I love that its walk in. Always good service. I didn't have the money for my dog's issue. They worked with me and did what was needed for a cheaper price. They could of made me go with the $$ one only.
