Dr. Brooks Bloomfield is just the best vet in Truckee and I've tried most of them. He is very thorough, gentle and very loving. He's found things on my feline girls that their previous vet missed. His exams are very hands on. He uses vaccines that don't make my girls ill afterwards (vaccines used by other vets have always put my girls off food for 24 hours afterwards.) He seems to know just the right amount of care, when to monitor for awhile and when to treat immediately. My cats get lots of love, kisses and cuddles from him whenever they visit... He is a very caring and demonstrative vet with them and very patient with me.
