I can't put less than one star?! Don't take your animal here if you don't want to be monetarily raped by the new vet who bought the practice in June 2009 from Dr. Kelly, or if your dog is sensitive to drugs! Dr. Kelly overdosed my drug-sensitive collie on adequan given to her to ease the pain of hip dysplasia, then when I brought her back in to see what could be done about the diahrea, throwing up, and constant panting, the new vet came up with nothing other than wanting to give her tramadol, an NSAID, another drug similar to the one she is already having a reaction to...(yes...lets give her more drugs to combat the side effects of the 1st drugs, good idea) as well as to do unnecessary x-rays. The staff is awesome but the veterinarians are less than decent. BOTTOM LINE- the new vet is in the hole and trying to make a buck at the expense of the worried pet owner and did nothing to actually help my dog. It'll be a cold day in hell when I go back to Bristol animal hospital. My dog is worse off now than she was before she ever stepped in the door. I will be driving her up to see my old vet to have her checked for kidney and liver damage plausible due to the panting and large consumption of water recently.

We miss Dr Kelly, he treated us with respect - not as a walking talking ATM. Bristol Animal Hospital is not the same ... It will also be be a cold day in hell when I go back to Bristol Animal Hospital.

I agree with the other reviews. I brought my dogs here for years and after Dr. Kelly left is went downhill. Besides being very expensive, they misdiagnosed my dogs health issue. I have found a wonderful new vet in Dr. Moore on East Main Street...
