They really don't care as much about your pet as they do about selling their overpriced wellness plans. They use scare tactics to try to get you more treatment for your dog than necessary. The last straw for me was the fact that they will not fill prescriptions ordered online (i.e. 1800petmeds) even though these places are licensed with the AVMA. You're much better off going elsewhere.

I came to Petsmart to get a dewormer for my 3 1/2 month old pup. Instead, they swayed me to get the vet to do, which costed me an additional $50 for the office visit. They also said he was due for his rabies shot, which was a week after, but I got it all done so I didn't have to bring him back. & I also got the shot just in case he gets a reaction to the rabies shot. The vet was awful, she did not care about the pup. She was quick in & out. So, they said that next time I don't have to get that shot to see if he would get a reaction, Children's Benadryl is fine. Why didn't she tell me this before I got it... waste of my $25. Anything for my puppy

Didn't get the impression these people really knew what they were talking about. After asking for $500 worth of tests before they could tell me what was wrong with my dog, I decided to search out a place with better user reviews. Very corporate, not reasonable.

The vet at this hospital is a complete a$$hole. I will never take my dogs to them again.
