We love this vet! We were referred here by multiple friends. We've been very happy with MHVH's service for over three years for our two Westie's. Prices are competitive and customer service is excellent. I would recommend them highly.

We have just gotten a new puppy and took it to Mile High for a check-up. The technician adviced getting insurance with Trupanion, as it is a Golden Retriever. They tend to chew and eat everything. I did it. Less than a week later, our puppy ate a sock. He had to have surgery immediately. It came to $5,400. We just had to pay 10% according to the contract. Another week later he tore out some stitches and we were back. Trupanion had the approvals in before the Hospital was even finished. My wife and I have had cats for the 50 years of our marriage. When we moved to Aurora from Minnesota with our 3 cats seven years ago, Mile High is the Vet Hospital we chose. The staff were wonderful helping us through Bustofer's congestive heart failure and Psyche's health problems at 19 years, and Simba's liver disease. Together we kept our cats comfortable for as long as possible. And when we had to euthanize each one, Mile High took care of us as well. Two years ago we adopted Lucy (6 at the time) and Niko (3) from Dumb Friends and the excellent care has continued. We'd bring our horse, Kristin, to Mile High but it appears that she doesn't qualify as a 'small animal'.

I have used the same vet in Aurora for over 35 years, but when I got a new dog recently, I thought I'd try Mile High Vets since they are much closer to me. I am very impressed. I have a rescue dog, so I don't know much of my dog's history, but she is very comfortable with Mile HIgh. I was especially impressed with the examination room. There's no stainless steel table for your dog, which always made my previous dogs nervous. Instead, the vet sits on the floor with your dog--what a great idea.
