The staff was super friendly, we got to see the vet really quickly, she listened to me, and helped me come up with a plan of action (within my budget) for my dog's care. Yes, they list prices off at you a lot, but I find it to be so you can make informed financial decisions about your pet's care, and I am never surprised at check out. My dog has a couple of issues that require check ups and maintenance, the wellness plan has saved my bank account!

We are new puppy owners and were very confused about where to take our four legged baby. We selected to take Stiegl to Banfield at Petsmart in Boulder. Banfield is a short walk from my work and the prices seemed very competitive. He instantly fell in love with Lucy and Dr. Alt and so did we! They are very kind, transparent, professional and we they care as much as we do for Stiegl. He got neutered yesterday and the level of service we received was fantastic!! If you want a vet who cares and give you straight information we recommend you take your pet to see Dr Alt and the friendly staff. They always calls the next day to make sure he is doing well. To speak about the negative reviews no business is going to be perfect 100% of the time. We signed up for the puppy wellness plan and probably have already saved well over a grand. We are happy customers!

Our dog had what was suspected to be an infection. Banfield said they would culture the samples and get back to us with a diagnosis and a prescription by a certain day. They were almost two weeks late getting back to us and by then her irritation had gotten much worse. The woman/nurse working the front desk was very nice about handling the error, but still initially wanted us to wait another week for a diagnosis/for the doctor to read the results when a) the results were there, printed out and b) the vet was right there, yelling at the other staff behind the closed (but not sound proof door). In short we've switched vets, and I'm not happy that we're stuck with Banfield's expensive insurance for another full year.

Don't waste your money or time going here! I took my cat here was because they were the only vet practice open after 1:00 pm on Saturdays (aside from an ER vet). First, they fat-shamed my cat and had me watch a "Agressive Behavior in Cats" video (because he eats his brother's share of food sometimes) which was exceptionally patronizing and not at all helpful. Then after the exam, they started throwing out cost after cost. I felt they were more interested in adding on costs and services then they were about the well-being of my baby; seemed very money-hungry. So glad I declined their services (and estimate of $700!!!) and went somewhere else.

The staff of this place spends a lot of time talking you into their 'plan' which means a monthly $25 charge on your credit card. I took my cat for a wellness exam and wanted them to check his butt to see if his glands were having a problem. They told me he was fine. When we left my cat was traumatized. When I got home I realized my cat was bleeding out of his butt. To me, this means a serious mishandling of the cat. My cat slept for over 24 hours after this visit, only waking up long enough to perseverate over his butt. The vet talked me into a vaccination I didn't want him to have since he is an indoor cat. I am supposed to take him back for a booster in 3 weeks. I will not step foot back in that place.
