Love this Vet, would not trust anyone else with my dogs! He has always given us the very best advice. Dr. Summerfield has taken care of 3 dogs and 1 cat for us. Thank you to his great staff as well. We always feel welcome!

My husband and I have been taking our 2 dogs to Dr. Summerfield for a few years now and wouldn't trust any other vet with them. He is so good with them, answers our questions, explains things to us and gives us helpful advice. His staff, Morgan and Todd, are wonderful and know how to handle our dogs. We've been through oral surgeries, teeth cleanings, a broken toe, eye issues, nail clippings, blood work, check-ups, etc and they have been so wonderful. If we need to get in quickly, they always find a time for us to get in that same day. We have had wonderful experiences at this vet and wouldn't go anywhere else. HIGHLY recommend!

After being urged and urged to spay my female dog by the doctor at the clinic, I decided to do it and called for a price quote. The price quoted to me over the phone was right about $400. I asked the guy to double-check that and he came back after a few minutes and said that was the price. I did some calling around and was getting prices of $100 quoted to me instead. I called back yet again to ask what is going on and he acted like paying more at Broomfield Meadows would result in something better for my dog, which in my opinion is ludicrous. I'll give you another example: My dog broke her leg in a horrific way... very complex fracture. The doctor here referred me to a surgeon in south Denver who quoted $4500 to repair it. I found a doctor in north Denver who charged $1500 and within a week she was running around like it never happened... six months later, it is an old memory. I had been taking my dog here for services and maybe I was just too happy to pay whatever amount they wrote down on the paper, I don't know... but now I feel I was being taken advantage of and can never trust this place with my money again. It's too bad because they are so close to me. I'm sure the doctor and staff at Broomfield Meadows are competent; that's not my issue with the place. If they respected the customer's hard-earned money a bit more, I wouldn't have such a problem with them. Buyer Beware... check around for prices, especially on return visits.

Excellent!!! Dr. Sumerfield and the team have taken care of my two English Bulldogs for the last three years and I have always been very happy with their honesty and great advice. I wont bring my pets anywhere else!

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sumerfield to anyone looking for a very caring vet. We have gone through the agony of euthanizing 2 dogs, and Dr. Sumerfield was wonderful during each procedure. He did not rush us and he was so gentle, His staff has always been friendly and helpful, and our new dog loves going to see him. He always seems to fit you in when you call last minute. I will continue to return to Broomfield Meadows Animal Hospital!
