Took my pet here last week and had a great experience. The staff was so friendly from when I walked into the door to when we left. The doctor answered all my questions and seemed truly interested in my pets well being . The receptionist was very nice and even offered a complimentary bag of treats for my dog. Their hours are great for getting an appointment after work hours or on the weekend!

I was concerned my dog was dying and I was referred to this place as I was driving to find some place to see him. I called them on my way to their office and they turned me away because there was not an appointment available at that time. Showed no concern or sympathy for the emergency. Go to Aspen Arbor instead.

We have been using this veterinary clinic for about 10 years. I appreciate their kindness for our furry friends and trust their advice. Had 2 cats as patients there for about 5 years and now have a dog in their care. When our dog was a puppy she swallowed a tack and they gave us a few options for helping her, some cheap and risky (let it pass, medicate for possible internal infection) and some much more involved (surgery). We opted for the surgery and were very happy with the amount of attention and follow up we received. I think we spoke with someone from the clinic twice a day. On another occasion, our pup wasn't eating and was wimpering a bit. I took my son with me to the appointment (he was working on the Dog Care merit badge for Boy Scouts) and the doctor took the time to explain things so that my son would understand our options. We chose to monitor our dog carefully and found that she had eaten a rather large rock, after which she was fine. Again, the doctor called us to follow up daily.

I had been taking my Yorkshire Terrier, Dexter, to this clinic since we got him at 3 months. Had no problems until we went in for his 1 year check up. I called the day before to set up an appointment, the receptionist told me 10AM. I came in the next day at 10AM, and was quickly put into the exam room. We then waited 45 minutes for the vet to come in; I checked with the techs about every 20 to see how much longer it would take. Each one told me the vet was finishing up her last appointment and would be with me soon. 45 minutes is NOT SOON. When I finally came out and checked for the last time, the vet was standing out in the lobby with the other techs talking. She stated that she was "only 15 minutes behind" and that I "hadn't been waiting that long." She then continued to say..."You did know that your appointment was at 10:30AM, not 10:00AM right?" Obviously not. Otherwise I wouldn't have shown up a half hour early just to wait for another 45 minutes! When I told her the receptionist told me 10AM, she said "well that's obviously where the confusion is. You'll have to wait at least another 5 minutes." Needless to say, we did not stay. I left and will not be going back to this vet clinic ever again.

This is an excellent animal clinic. My cat's back legs stopped working. He had so much trouble moving around the house and was in obvious pain. I called the Laurel Vet Clinic at 5:30 PM on a weekday and asked for the next available appointment. The leg issue was serious enough they said I could stop by that day before they closed. The doctor was super-informative. He explained everything in great detail and depth. I trust this business highly. My cat's legs are fixed and in good health now. He had something wrong with his spine that affected the rear legs.
