I have been taking my cat there for two years now, and have always enjoyed the experience. The staff is friendly and professional, and Dr. Erin seems to love what she does. My cat has only had routine examinations there.

Let me start by saying I am not, a novice dog owner and I have made dogs a part of my career. I have seen over 7 veterinarian's in the Colorado springs area. Some of the vets were decent and others not so much. Dr. Erin DeTurk has hands down been the most thorough Veterinarian I have seen. She is also very willing to work with those of us who are into the "natural food" and or Raw feeders. For those wanting to know, I have 2 mini dachshuds, a Parson Russell Terrier(aka Jack Russell) and a lab. However Dr. Erin has a mastiff and if very giant breed savvy. If you are looking for a VERY thorough and well rounded vet because your dogs are a part of the family, I can honestly say you wont regret going to see Dr. Erin!

Dr. Welch is friendly enough and the clinic is fine for routine exams and vaccinations, but if I needed more specialized care for my pet(s)--or any pet beyond the basic dog/cat/rabbit--I would go directly to Woodmoor Vet instead. I had enough circumstances and conversations with Dr. Welch to make me question his diagnostic skills for non-routine procedures and illnesses or injuries. I used them because they were close, friendly, and not too expensive for the basics. I also have low-maintenance pets (so far). However, when I've needed specialized care for my dogs in the past, I've gone elsewhere.

This place is a total joke. I took my Airedale puppy there to have his ears set. The weighed him in and proceeded to charge me almost $100 for the service and an exaime. He was NOT there for an exaime. My vet already did a real exaime for $35 and they charged $50 just to weight him. They charged another $50 for setting the ears and it lasted for less than 24 hours. what a rip. Don't take your pet to this money hungry place.

I've been going to Dr. Welch for years, but I was really impressed with Dr. Erin. She was great, and very caring with my dog who is always nervous. She didn't insist I put him on the table, either. I didn't know what was wrong with him except that he wasn't acting normal. She listened to what I told her was wrong and did a thorough exam explaining to me what she was doing the whole time. She diagnosed him having a back problem and now he is running around like a puppy again. I would recommend her to anyone!
