I chose Hermosa because of Dr Kurth but these days he's hardly ever there. I understand the office staff is busy but every time I call I'm put on terminal hold and have to call back numerous times. Dr Mercado saw my puppy and couldn't give me a diagnosis. She took chest x-rays and said they came back abnormal. She just told me to see a specialist but couldn't tell me what kind of specialist I needed to see. What kind of vet does that? Then they gave me the wrong x-rays to give to the unknown type of specialist! I decided to go to another vet and I had to call them repeatedly to fax my files to the new vet. That was 2 weeks ago and they still haven't sent the complete file. I called them twice today and I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes! I called again and was again placed on hold. Don't waste your time going to this place!

Dr Kurth saved my cat. He was run over by a car. The emergency care clinic said his leg should be amputated. Dr kurth saved the leg and a year later, the cat is fine. We have taken all of our animals here for over 20 years. They work hard to serve everyone who comes and they are inundated with families...so there is always a wait....but I love the client base in the Waiting Room as well. Very friendly

NO. It's the closest vet to my house and many, many years ago they provided good service… Now, it's horrible. They are severely understaffed and overwhelmed. You will never get in, even with an appointment it took close to an hour for anyone to see us. I paid 900 plus upfront for dental and other procedures, it turned out horribly. The staff was inept and I am never ever going back.

They killed my dog. They were doing a teeth cleaning and pulling a tooth. Why because they said he needed it but when they put him under to do the work he had a heart attack. But they made sure to get the 9 hundred plus up front. Don't go here
