I don't understand these negative reviews about the Maxfund. I have volunteered there and visited the Cat center today to give them some donations for the cats. (My 19 year old cat died a few weeks ago, and I had lots of great stuff to donate!) The reason you have to be "buzzed in" is because they have cats that are loose, and they don't want them to get out. No biggy! The place is clean. The people are friendly and helpful. I think they do a great service for the animals. That my opinion. I really appreciate the Maxfund!!

I love the Maxfund! I am so grateful to have adopted 2 awesome boys and I’m very happy that they require the necessary paperwork and background check before they let people adopt. I do have to agree that the folks in the Wellness center are rude, grumpy and they all look like they’re miserable working there. The folks in the adoption center are great and I’ll continue to donate.

I adopted a little chi mix five years ago, and I could not have been happier with the Max Fund. There care and attention was wonderful. My little guy passed in March of this year; he lived to be 17 and truly inspired "who saved whom." For the past year we have been blessed to have a three-legged pit mix with us. He has taken over our hearts and I cannot imagine life without him. Every dog deserves love and a home. It is just a matter of finding the right home for each of them. Max fund has done this for me every time.

This place is very unprofessional. I looked all over the Denver Metro area for a no kill shelter. I found MaxFund and was so happy that my dog would find another home that would better suit his needs, I was greeted with judgement and dirty looks and accusations that I was trading my old dog in for my puppy. They pretty much told me what I was doing and why I was there. When I walked in they ask why I was there but did not care hear what I had to say they jumped to there own conclusion. My husband tried to explain to them the situation but was judged as well and treated with disrespect. I will never refer anyone to this place, I have no clue who runs and or pays for this place to stay in business. The staff was the worst. I left there angry and in shock that they are allowed to treat people that way.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! $19 Rabbies shot... I have been putting this off for $19. Really?!!! The techs are kind and the doctors are on top of it. I wait is never long and its cheaper to walk in than make an appointment. Go see them. They are awesome!
