The Whole Cat & Dogs Too is a great place to shop for high quality pet food and quality supplies, toys, collars and leashes, etc. Sue and Nancy are super knowledgeable about pet problems, esp. digestive problems and more than once their simple and easy-to-implement suggestions have worked! Wish I could say that about some of the vets we've seen over the years. We've had 4 cats since 2004 and the 2 newer ones are still with us. We always adopt older cats from shelters only, since there are so many homeless cats and the older ones just seem to languish at the shelters because nobody wants them. Most people want kittens, but they grow up, too, and with an older cat, you don't have to go through potty training and wonder whether or not they're a wanderer if you let them out while supervised, or just an anti-social or problem animal. Some just take off at the first chance they get. Older cats are already trained and you can tell their personality types, unlike kittens. The Whole Cat & Dogs, Too carries pet foods that you will not find at the supermarket, including grain free foods (cured chronic diarhea in our 8-year old tomcat, where all of the exams, x-rays, and antibiotics from the vet did nothing). The foods cost a little more, but they are higher quality with natural ingredients and less grains. If a certain diet cures, say, diarhea or another digestive or other problem, Sue and Nancy may be able to help. If they don't have a known solution, they will be honest and tell you so. But their recommendations are usually right on, and even they aren't, they are careful to "do no harm". Sure, vets are necessary, but sometimes common sense and knowledge of cats' and dogs' common problems may be a simple diet change or method to feed, or try over-the-counter med(s). Great store. The whole team is great! When our cat Monkey started refusing her food they set us up with multiple brands / flavors until we found the one she liked the most! They also introduced us to our cat-sitter Nance! The Whole Cat saved the day!

I was looking for a specific product and this was the only store in denver that had it. They have a wide variety of products and toys, I will definitely return!
