I've been taking all three of my pit mixes to Dr. Monica for the last 2 years. They certainly scratch each other up often enough due to their rough play and Dr. Monica has always given very reasonable advice and isn't quick to jump the gun on expensive procedures. She has also been providing a lot of additional help with my epileptic pup. She returns calls quickly, consults with neurologists, and has helped to get his epilepsy under control. I had tried several other vets prior to Dr. Monica at other clinics around the city. None offered the level of care, knowledge or service that she provides at each and every visit. In other words, I would highly recommend!

Dr. Milizio and the Vet Tech down to the front office gal who checked me in were all wonderful and pleasant. Service price wise, it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. 59 for the full checkup and ear drops for her bacterial infection were fine by me. Most of all, the staff was caring and so nice - like they genuinely care how your pet is doing even 2 weeks after the visit. Despite the convenience of it being right across the street from me, I would definitely bring my Gracie back if I ever have any health concerns.

We live in the mountains and have a vet we go to for run-of-the-mill care, but for anything beyond that, we drive 45 minutes to see Dr. Glawe or Dr. Abbey. Hampden Family Pet Hospital is outstanding and reminds me of an excellent person hospital. I recommend Hampden without reservation. If you need a new vet or or a specialty vet or a second opinion or have a pet with a problem that isn't run-of-the-mill , go to Hampden.

I have been to this clinic about four times, for shots and bouts of kennel cough, and its always been a pleasant experience. Its just really expensive. I'm sure others have mentioned this, but the estimate I got for a spay was around $600. Although I love my dog very much, I can't imagine their level of care would have been 10x better than a $60 spay that the rescue I foster for uses. If I could afford to stay with them, I absolutely would. I never left without spending around or over $200.

Dr. Justin Milizio is the most passionate and caring veterinarian I have ever met. When I brought in our 3 year old dog for vomiting he was not only extremely helpful and provided efficient, top notch services, but he was also very thorough explaining everything to us. In a nutshell, he's one of the most knowledgeable veterinarians I've ever had and he always provides exceptional client communication and follow-up care.
