I have been taking my two dogs to Moore Animal Hospital for three years now and I am consistently impressed by the kindness of the staff. They are knowledgeable and professional but also treat my dogs as they would their own. I feel like my animals are in the best hands possible when I take them there!

I cannot go here any more. I loved it when Dr Leidhold worked here but since he left the place is a mess - most of the staff are untrained or barely trained - ask when they graduated, they are all basically kids - many of them actually have no proper training or experience at all. The owner Dr Buckner is only interested in money. She is old but also not very experienced, I believe she had a different career before this one. I had a surgery done on my dog. It came out way more expensive than they estimated. No one warned me and there were a lot of additional follow up costs they did not tell me about. They are focused on selling you products not caring for your pet. I am going elsewhere in future.

Since the new Dr bought the vet, it has gotten cleaner, more efficient, and more professional. I love going there and the kind, caring way they treat my dog in addition to the straightforward manner they discuss treatments and prices. They are very experienced in their profession, and have all the necessary tools and knowledge to treat the animals. Unlike other vets in town, they give the owner the choice of what to do, and don't pressure or guilt you into things. They don't nickle and dime you for every little thing. So glad I found this vet, and my dog loves going there!

The staff was friendly but not satisfied with the care my cat has received. I'm also looking elsewhere for boarding.

Hey folks, This is part one of two or three or four because I don’t want to ramble on and bore all of you to death in one reading, I’d rather do that over a few days. I am not a FB person so it took awhile for me to get on here. I was K9 Cyrus’ handler. First, I would like to thank everyone at Moore Animal Hospital for all of their help and compassion through Cyrus’ illness. They said they would do a fundraiser to help with his expenses and I told them I didn’t do stuff like that because he was my responsibility. They said, “Oh well, we do,” and they did. They took a great burden off of me and it is appreciated beyond words. Dr. Leidholt has been with us since my first working dog, Gundo, and has treated all of our police dogs over the last 20 plus years. Dr. Buckner came on board as a vet (she was a tech prior to that) I think around my third dog, Kaya, who is still with me. Skomp was in between Gundo and Kaya. Cyrus was my fourth dog and my newest dog, Zeus, is training with me now. Both Doug and Maura saw and treated Cyrus over the last several months, but as many of you know, in the end there was nothing more that could be done. Cyrus was a Belgain Malinois and just over 7 years old. He was a big part of my life at home and on the job, losing a partner is tough. I would like to thank both of them for taking my calls at all hours at home and coming in on days off. In the end, as we all wish for our pets, Cyrus’ pain was ended and Maura and the girls (and Mark) were there for the big cry baby, that would be me, not Cyrus. OK I lied , I rambled. My thanks to Doug and Maura for everything. Stay tuned because I have not forgotten the staff or the generous clients for their donations. I tried to attach a picture of Cyrus here, but as I indicated, I am FB illiterate. This picture kinda gives you an idea of his personality. God Bless Rick & K9 Cyrus
