I have used Golden Animal hospital for 30 years. They have alsways taken care of our horses and Donna has cared for our horses for years. We trust her knowledge and she has great compassion for the horses. I have two pups one 6 months old one 5 months old. The 5 month old got a hold of half a gram of bute which was for our horse. I called to see who was on call thought it might be Donna and it was Dr Gary. I left a message and he called back. Reviewed what happened, told him how big Otis was and he told me what to do. I followed his inbstructions, it worked, and then called my dog vet who started out at Golden Animal Hospital years ago, that is where I knew him. He said I did the right thing. Well it is 5:30 pm and Otis seems to be doing fine. I just want to thank Dr. Gary with all my heart for helping Otis and me. These vets are exceptional! The front desk people can be abrupt but the one that all has reviewed truly is an extremely good person and also very caring of the animals.

I have been to two different veterinarians for my puppy's luxating patella (a trick-knee). Golden Animal Hospital was very welcoming, they were very direct informative on the necessary procedures, and they even took the extra time to draw a diagram and label the areas for me. I am very happy with my visit, and the estimate they gave me for the surgery was $800 less than the starting price for the other locations I have visited and called.

Have been taking our pets here for 10+ years. They don't charge an arm and a leg for everything and we've never had a complaint about their services. I'd recommend

I have been taking our dog to Dr. Hill for 15 years and he is amazing! He saved our dog's life after a very bad accident. I will always take my pets there. His receptionist on the other hand is very very RUDE!!! She acts like you are a bother to her. Dr.Hill is so great that I'm sure people look past this but think how much better the office could be if the person greeting you wasn't so rude. The techs are also very very nice and caring. They never over charge or recommend things your dog doesn't need.

I've tried to use this facility as a back-up to my regular vet, and have found the attitude of the vets here extremely disappointing. They care very little, and are more interested in finding reasons to put animals down than to make any effort to save them. Made the mistake of calling them in an emergency situation the other night & the on-call vet refused to even see the (large) animal, leaving me no choice but to drive TWO HOURS to the CSU teaching hospital (the animal was admitted & is doing fine there). I would never willingly take any animal to this facility & am now very reluctant to go there, even when my choices are severely limited. Find a different vet!!
