Dr. Burnett and other staff were efficient in diagnosis of SnoBall's Kennel Cough diagnosis. Dr. Burnett went into detailed explanation of the malady and its causes. He and staff have excellent bedside manner, SnoBall is now healing with cough supressant and antibiotic :)
I intended to post a review a long time ago but never got around to it. Back in June of 2013 my dachshund was attacked by a coyote in my yard at around 12:00am . ACCESS animal hospital was the closest open hospital. They took my dog immediately and took xrays and did everything they could to make him comfortable. Ultimately his wounds were too severe and even a very expensive surgery had a very low chance of saving him. I did end up having to put him down. I felt that the staff was very compassionate and answered all my questions honestly. I know a lot of people are upset with the prices of services at this hospital but you have to remember it is a HOSPITAL which indicates at least to me that its for emergency's. I think if they could they would help every animal that came through the doors, but at the end of the day this is a private business and they have to make money. Anybody who has been in an ER knows what a real emergency bill looks like. If you don't have a $1000 on hand then you should invest in pet insurance.

TO HAVE TAKEN MY DOG WITH YOU HOW CAN PLAY WITH THE PEOPLE charged me $ 3000.00 BY OPERATING MY DOG THEY DONT CARE A BUT YOU ANIMALS THEY CARE ABOUT MONEY I SO SAD I HAVE MY DOG 12 YEAR WITH ME A THEY TELL ME A LOW PRICE OPITION PUT TO SLEEP I M DECIDE TO DUE IT ....THANKS ALOT TO TAKE MY DOG ..I NEVER EVER RECOMNDE SOMEBODY LIKE YOU
We were letting our dog swim in the river on a Sunday afternoon. He stepped on a large shard of glass and cut an artery in his leg. Unfortunately, I didn't have $700 in cash in my swimming trunks although I did have it at home 30 min. Away. They were willing to let my dog bleed to death rather than treat him while I went home to get $$. Fortunately a police officer drove by and directed us to Columbine Vet Clinic in Littleton. This vet immediately took him to surgery and stated that if it had taken another 30 min. he would have bled to death.
Our puppy needed emergency surgery to remove an obstruction in her stomach. Not only did the wonderful staff at ACCESS take amazing care of her, but they were also very helpful to us from when we first brought her in to when we picked her up to bring her home after the surgery. To say I was an emotional wreck when dropping her off is an understatement, and everyone was so empathetic. They also very patiently explained all of our options from care to payment, let us come visit her whenever we wanted, and gave us a very thorough outline of her surgery and recovery at the clinic. We can't thank them enough!
