I love the Cat Care Society. I first went there about two years ago. My grandparents cat had just died and they didn't want another cat. I kept urging them to get another cat to help them with their loss, so we went to the Cat Care Society. Having a cat myself, I knew when I first stepped in that this was an amazing place. Cats like to roam around, not be locked up in cages. They have multiple rooms there to separate the cats. Personally, my favorite room is the kitten room. In the Cat Care Society, you are free to pet the cats. I just love it there. Another thing to love about this magnificent place is that the Cat Care Society is a no kill place. In other words, they keep the cats till the perfect owner comes around and adopts it. The Cats Care Society does not give the cats a certain amount of time to live. The cats have a loving home there at the cats care society. I would definitely go there if I were you.
I adopted my kitty "May" there about 3 years ago and she is the BEST pet I have ever had. If you are looking for a cat I highly recommend this place. The cats are treated very well, are kept in a clean spacious environment and all seem to be in great health.
These folks are very caring and do a wonderful job helping take care of cats who would otherwise be abandoned or abused through uncaring owners. We have adopted three cats over the years from Cat Care and are glad they are there. They do the best job they can to screen both you and the cat to make sure that the home the cat is going to will truly be a forever home. Their facility is clean and well-kept and the cats sheltered there are well cared for. I only wish there were more places like Cat Care.
Went there to adopt a kitten or cat. The place smelled strongly of urine and seemed to be overpopulated, with some rooms having 10+ cats. Cats appeared stressed out from the crowding. The facility's adoption approval process is asinine, we were denied because 3 years ago we moved cross-country and were not able to bring our pets along. We found our pets a new home with a family friend before leaving. We have never felt so outraged before. There was an elderly lady in the facility at the same time we were there, she was looking for a animal companion. She was denied as well. They said she was too old to adopt a cat. No wonder the facility is so overpopulated. They never adopt out their animals.....
We adopted a darling Munchkin cat this summer from the Cat Care Society shelter in Denver. A great caring team!
