I actually have been going to Belleview West for years - before Dr. Barnard was there and after he came on we stayed because his youthful energy and knowledge made us very reassured that our pets were going to be cared for. I was told today that the clinic has developed a website so while on the Internet going to look at that I thought I would stop and write a review. For several reasons. One - we have NEVER had a bad experience at this clinic and as I said we have been going for years - through multiple animals - that long!! Two - I am appalled that anyone would have anything negative to say - makes you wonder if it is possible that someone is just trying to make problems. The girls who greet you, the doctor who spends huge amounts of time with you and the services and honesty that encompass this clinic are beyond excellent. It is like walking into a small town clinic where they actually know your name, remember your pet and treat you like someone that is in there all the time instead of once or twice a year for a check up. The smiles and kindness towards your pet (which is most important to me) are beyond reproach. Truly if you are looking for a vet - new in town or need a switch you truly need to stop here and check it out. My review of this clinic over the years - terrific and my review for current activities where we have been there with our pets - excellent (and btw - for both CATS and DOGS - they are very conscious of making sure that everyone - pets and their owners - are very comfortable!! I had the worst luck trying to find a quality vet when I first moved to the Denver area. Luckily, a coworker mentioned the Belleview West Animal Hospital in Littleton. I'll admit I wasn't sure what to expect & was a bit skeptical that anyone could be as good as my coworker described. Long story short, we made our first appointment and was pleasantly surprised! Dr Barnard & the whole crew at Belleview West was everything you'd want in a Vet Clinic and more! Everyone there is so knowledgeable and friendly. They truly care about our pets! We did not feel like just another paying customer here (like we did at so many other clinics). By the time our appointment was over, we left feeling like we had just made some new best friends! Our sweet little "chug" Bella is not just our dog but a member of our family & I would never take my children to just any Dr, same goes for our Bella. So glad we found Dr Barnard & the entire staff at Belleview West Animal Hospital! I don't normally take the time to write reviews but after our wonderful experience at this clinic I couldn't wait to let others know! We had such a hard time finding a vet clinic we liked when we first moved here I just really wanted to help others in the same situation. It's hard when you relocate & don't know who to trust. Look no further than the Belleview West Animal Hospital for a trustworthy, experienced, friendly & most importantly caring vet clinic!

Belleview West Animal clinic is by far the best clinic I have been to. Dr. B is by far the best vet out there and Does NOT take on more services he can handle! He has always worked hard to get my dogs in when it works for me. I have had to face a couple of surgeries for my dogs, and Dr. B guided me through the process and helped me find the best option that worked for me and my dog. I had been to several vets before Dr. B and they all just tried to charge me as much as possible, and didn't really care about my dogs. I won't ever go to another vet besides Dr. B!

By far the best Vet in town. We have an 8 yr old dog that has seen Dr. B since we brought him home. I also have a 6 month old English Bully that has been a patient :-) since I brought her home. I would never consider taking them any other place. From the firnedly staff to Dr. B's knowledge, it just feels like home. He's even stopped by our home several times after hours because our older pup wasn't feeling well. You can't beat that!

To anyone reading the post starting out with the words "Horrible by Dr. B" should be made aware that first off he does not take on more "services than he can handle". Anyone working in the medical field of any type would have the understanding that you do what you have to do, and I am sorry but there are always those emergency's that do come in. And Dr. B and his staff take very good care of not only the pet aspect of the pet/human bond, but they care for the human side as well. So to hear that Dr. or any member of his staff has a negative attitude in dealing with pet and or clients, well I can not believe that this is true. Dr. B nor his staff would ever administer to a pet any drugs that the pet did not need. All medical fields have to follow one rule and that is "Do no harm", so" giving pets drugs that are not needed" would go against this rule, and well Dr. B and his staff would not do this. Dr. B is one of the most caring and compassionate people that I have met in the veterinary field, anyone with a pet and is near should bring their pet to him. He is fabulous.
