Always have a good experience at Boyd Lake. Both Vets are kind and professional. The Techs are great and we even get our dogs groomed there. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone. They care about our pets and they truly understand the bonds we humans have with our animal friends.

The wonderful people at Boyd Lake Vet Center have taken care of my Bichon Frise, CorleeAnne, for several years. She has received the best, most competent care from Boyd Lake Vet Center throughout her life, even with her many health challenges. When the time came to let her go (last Saturday), these loving, caring employees made the experience peaceful and less painful for us. They were so gentle with CorleeAnne and I know that she felt loved by them. I highly recommend Boyd Lake Veterinary Center and know that if/when I have another pet, these fabulous people will again be a part of our lives.

This may be one of the strangest reviews one mighty receive. We first went to Dr Doherty years ago as we had a Bishon who was very old and in a lot of pain. At our request Dr. Doherty put him to sleep. A few days later we took our very old and ill Yorky to Dr. Doherty. She was also in a lot of pain with a purple tongue and unable to breath properly. Again Dr. Doherty put her to sleep. We felt terrible not only about losing our two beloved friends but also that our first time seeing Dr. Doherty was to have him do the worst thing a vet has to do. He did so with love and caring not only for our puppies but for us also. We quickly got a new Yorky as we missed our puppies. Dr Doherty checked her over to make sure she was healthy. He has taken excellent care of her since with the same love and caring he displayed when we first went to see him. We recommend Dr. Doherty and the Boyd Lake Veterinary Center highly as he and his staff are just nice people who know their stuff and care about people and animals.

Took my 2 mini Schnauzers for a grooming, and she did a FANTASTIC job! They are reasonable, accomodating, and the place is CLEAN! Friendly staff. Returning soon :-)
