If I could give this clinic ten stars, I would. Dr. B (Berggren) has cared for my "kids" for around 30 years. He is the best vet I have ever encountered. Obviously vets and their staff are "animal people" but Dr. B stands out not only for his knowledge, but his gentleness with the animals. They actually seem to relate to him and trust him. He is completely upfront and honest about procedures, fees and your pet's health. The other vets and the support staff are also excellent, always pleasant and ready to help. One time when I was traveling, my elderly mother (who doesn't drive) was babysitting my cats. The clinic told us that since I live just a short distance away, if my cats had any problems while I was gone, they would come to the house and pick up the sick pet. This is the kind of personal attention and dedication that is almost unheard of among professions. I highly recommend Animal Clinic North to anyone who loves their pets and wants the best for them.

We've been going to another vet for our two dogs whole lives. But my little one has bad teeth and needed extractions. The price our vet quoted me almost made me swallow my teeth! I called around and got a quote almost half the price at Animal Clinic North. I realize it's not great to take your pet to a place they've never been when they're going to go under anesthesia, but I also realize dental work is pretty routine. My first call to them for a quote, the woman was super friendly. I felt I was given the appropriate amount of information and communication. They also let me have the agreement that if there were more teeth to pull than the exam revealed, they would call me during the procedure to ask first, before extracting. (My little dog was born without her pre-molars, so has very few teeth as it is!) My other (big) dog blew her CCL. My vet immediately said "TPLO" and quoted me $3,800! Her exam seemed cursory to me, so I called ACN and set up an appointment for a 2nd opinion. The vet did the same exam (so that reassured me) and then did an x-ray to try to see if it was a full or partial tear, and how much arthritis and inflammation she had. I found the staff and vet very friendly, professional and informative. I'll stick with our current vet because they have our dogs' whole history, and other than their prices I have no issue with them. But it's nice to know we have a 2nd option I'm very happy with for our pets.

Just saw some bad reviews, which are unbelievable to me. Dr. B took care of my Lab, Booker from puppy till his end, 13 1/2 years later. He guided us through some tough times with the best solutions and often counciled us to proceed with less expensive options than could have been chosen. His colleagues and vet staff were always kind, professional and empathetic. I couldn't imagine a better vet. Thanks Dr. B and staff!

Dr. Sanders has not worked at Animal Clinic North since December of 2011. Please disregard the reviews that have her name in them. The doctors there now are spectacular and between the three of them have decades of experience. I've been a client there since I got my first dog 17 years ago. Doc Berggren, Doc Skelley and Doc Madole are the bee's knees.

Just called them and they were super rude. Not even gonna bother going in.
